This tutorial discusses MinimServer 2.2 this is the latest incarnation of MinimServer and a substantial step up from the original MinimServer 1. MinimServer is available for many platforms but we are going to use the Melco Digital Music Library that comes with SongKong and MinimServer built in, with a limited license that can be updated to a full license.
Having installed MinimServer it is accessible via the web-browser in similar way to SongKongs remote mode
If we select the Licenses tab we can stick with the limited starter license, activate a trial of the full license for 30 days or install an already purchased full license
So for the purpose of this tutorial we are going to activate the free trial of full license
