If we are using MinimServer on a Melco server it comes with three predefined profiles for use with metadata added by SongKong. There are three different profiles tuned to three types of musical genres because some users prefer different music genres to be displayed differently,
We can also switch MinimServer between these profiles from the Melco OLED instead by going to Settings:Music Database:Tree Indexes and selecting from
- For Classical Music
- For Jazz Music
- For Rock/Pop Music
behind the scenes this switches to the SongKong profiles.
However the most complex profile SongKongClassical is actually perfectly suitable for all music genres.
