The Status Report provides a nice summary of your music collection. The Browse menu lets us see our songs grouped by both Artist/Album and Composer/Work and we can filter the results by matches to MusicBrainz, Discogs and Bandcamp
The Matched menu lets us browse by matched MusicBrainz and Discogs releases and we can filter to find incomplete album matches
The View as Spreadsheet option lets us see al the metadata in one handy spreadsheet
But we would like to improve Status Report further so that it summarizes the results and offers advice on best approach to resolving issues
So today we launch a new feature available to both existing customers and prospective customers, simply
- Install SongKong
- Select Status Report task (note this is free no license required)
- Select all fields in the Show these fields in the Status Report option
- Start task
- Create a topic on these forum
- Run Create Support Files, linking to the topic in the Url field
We will review your results and give some advice on next steps to help you immediately, and this will help us to improve Status Report in future releases.
