after installing V9 over v8.10 program does not start anymore, indicating that i should use a profile. None is given, even not the default profile. So I can not enter my dataset anymore. The whole program blocks
SongKong drops profiles after install
Hi, sorry introduced a bug yesterday evening meaning that the new profiles (which have a different filename because now per task) were not copied over if updating from earlier release, see comments on SongKong 9.0 Drukqs released 11th of May 2023
Anyway, it is now fixed for all platforms, in most cases just need to redownload and reinstall. If you are using Windows because version number not changed you need to uninstall existing version first and then reinstall otherwise it will just reinstall old version.
I will release SongKong 9.0.1 later today with same fix so will get picked up by all customers, but the quickest way to fix was to re-release 9.0.
