SongKong -- Cannot Install Trial Version

I’ve tried several times to install the trial version of SongKong, but I keep getting a Startup Error message of “Failed to find or load ini file.”

I uninstalled my Java 6 completely, and installed the current Java 7. I did the Oracle Java test and confirmed that Java was working.

I can see an ini file in the unzipped folder, but apparently the setup program in the same folder cannot.

I have a 32-bit Win 7 computer, and downloaded this version.

Have the exact same problem in trying to install Jaikoz.

What do I need to do to install a trial version of SongKong?

Open a command Window
Run Jaikoz.exe /SongKong.exe from there and paste the output

But one customer had this problem because it could not allocate the memory set in Jaikoz.ini/SongKong.ini even though it was much less then the machine memory. So you could try opening the .ini file in Notepad and reduce the value of:

vm.heapsize.preferred=

to a lower value.
