SongKong 10.3 Hangup

Hi Paul,
trying to merge two larger iTunes Libraries, I

did a “Preview” run of “Fix Songs” to get an idea about the state of affairs with the intent to de-duplicate later. Songkong has been running for a few days on an old iMac (24 GB memory, macos 12.7.6) and has stopped updating the progress panel (included). I will cancel and upload the Support Files now.

It had a problem with a couple of folders, errors logged in the Errors and Warnings tab and the closing of these files didnt happen correctly so it just hung because the completed count never matched the loaded count.

These things happen, they shouldnt happen ideally but difficult to track down sometimes

But the key thing is of the 16,556 files loaded, most (16,323) completed and saved. We save folders as they are matched so these errors did not prevent the other folders from being processed.

So at worst you have 233 songs that did not process, if you rerun SongKong again (with default options) it will skip over matching the already matched songs so It shoukd not take too long and it wil probably complete okay this time since these kind of errors are usually a bit random and do not reocurr with the same ablums consistently.

Just noticed you have For songs already fully matched set to Rematch, best to set it to Update Metadata Only or even Ignore or it will have to reprocess all songs.
