I just updated to SK 1.20.0. I have have about 28K songs. SK freezes at about 23,200. It has done that twice in a row. I have no idea how to proceed or what files to look at to discover the issue.
What can I do to see where it is hanging up?

Just an update. When I ran it this time I unchecked the “Update iTunes” box. So far it seems to be doing better. It is at 25845 songs loaded and I can hear the HD working away.

You could send me your support files (Help:Create Support Files) but tomorrow I will be releasing SongKong 1.21 with a number of bug fixes that may well fix this.

But I think it is worth pointing out that unlike Jaikoz SongKong fixes and saves songs as it goes along.
As part of the default set up SongKong rematches all files even if already matched - so that any changes that are made to your preferences are applied consistently to all files. However if you make no changes between run 1 and run 2 and you are only doing run 2 because run 1 did not complete it makes alot of sense to uncheck Match all songs, even if matched on the basic tab. SongKong will run much quicker because already matched songs will not be rematched, and because its processing less files better chance that it will successfully complete matching the remainder.
