Trying to install latest on Intel Mac running MacOs 14.4.1
I get the following from my Bitdefender Antivirus:
An infected file attempted to run on your device.
Threat name: Trojan.GenericKD.72542520
Path: /Applications/SongKong.app/Contents/Java/songkong-10.5.jar
We deleted the file to prevent malicious commands from being executed on your device
When I try to run SongKong I get
SongKong.app is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash
Problem with installing on MACOS
Right, well there is no virus in there all I can do is try to correspond with BitDefender to see why it is reporting that, you can get round issue by temporarily halting bitdefender
Thanks, Paul. I am having the same issue with BitDefender and WIndows 10. Any word on a reply from BitDefender? Just to be safe, until this issue is resolved I will be holding off on using SongKong.
Dave
It’s been submitted as false positive to BitDefender hopefully resolved within the day
I have just downloaded and reinstalled SongKong on Windows and BitDefender no longer complaining (I also ran a Quick Scan and no longer reporting isues) so should now be okay for you on MacOS as well but would be helpful if you could confirm.
Just gave it a try on an Intel Mac running Sonoma and latest versions of Bitdefender and SongKong. Looks like the problem with Bitdefender finding a “virus” in SongKong is fixed.
