I have some MP3s that SongKong does not recognizes, can be read with MP3Tagger and a number of other tools with out issues. The error-message that I get is " None of the file or folders selected contain any songs that can be read by SongKong " - I confirm that the folder contains music that contain music 
Any help or suggestion greatly received.

are you sure they are actually mp3 file format ?
Paul, you almost got me their. Never thought of checking that as I have been playing this set already for some years. OK, result of the visual is all files have MP3 extension which does not mean it is an MP3. But I have downloaded a tool that can analyse file types and I have enclosed the result as jpg, I hope it well help.
