I setup a musicbrainz VM on a separate Linux machine.
I am running Songkong on a windows machine.
Sonkong connects to the VM just fine and will start scanning then it stops with internet connection lost or connection refused.
Any idea how I can fix this. I can click continue and it will continue for a bit then just stops again and repeats over and over.
I get either a connection refused or a 503 error
When it fails can you connect to it via browser ?
As its a VM cant you just run it on your Windows box, or run SongKong or your Linux box that would seem to make more sense.
I was able to fix this issue by installing VMplayer and the VM version of Musicbrainz instead of the Virtual Box.

Ah right I didnt realize that you use Virtual Box, yes I do recommend the VMware version http://jthink.net/songkong/help/help.html#d5e251 as I have not even been able to get the VirtualBox version to successfully build the search server indexes.
