Jaikoz sticks at "Jaikoz is initializing" on mac

I’ve recently returned to Jaikoz on an Intel-based Mac after some time, including an upgrade of OS to Mountain Lion.

I’ve downloaded and installed the current version of Jaikoz.

When I start the app, it sticks at “Jaikoz is initializing”, apparently forever. I’ve left it for 2 hours with no change.

I’ve tried re-downloading the app; deleting the settings file in the Library, rebooting, then deleting all files in the library. but I get the same result, regardless.

The Java version is 1.6.0_37.

Any ideas?

Can you try:

Start Applications/Utilities/Terminal
cd /Applications/jaikoz.app/Contents/Resources/Java
./jaikoz.sh

and paste the ouput

OK, it gives me:

Hmm, so have you tried deleting the actual database folder ?

The Jaikoz folder in Library? If so, yes.
