When installing 1.2 (64 bit version) over 1.1 seems not overwrite the existing files. When I start SK again after installation (SK is closed during installation), it again reminds me that 1.2 is available. In the about dropdown menu it seems that 1.1 is still installed. Tried to install it twice, with the same result.
Installation of 1.2 on Windows 8 has some issues.
Is this SongKong Final version rather than the Beta, there was an issue but Im sure I resolved it ?

I have uninstalled it and re installed it three times…
This applies to the latest version, install.jar dated 24.1.2013 13:53.
Ah, worked it out, sorry.
Although 1.2 has been installed okay when you start SongKong64.exe it looks in the lib folder for the songkong jar and finds the old songkong1.1.jar before the songkong1.2.jar and uses that instead. Please manually delete the songkong1.1.jar and songkong1.0.jar if they exist. I hadn’t considere d this issue, it is not an issue in Jaikoz because the main jar file is always called jaikoz.jar.
Ive reopened http://www.jthink.net:8081/browse/SONGKONG-161 to address this.
