I am struggling to download artist or albumartist images for folders with certain popular artists

@paultaylor I am struggling to download artist or albumartist images for folders with certain popular artists (e.g. paul Simon, Taylor swift as examples). I am currently using 12.9.1. I have attempted various iterations of “Fix Songs” including “Update Metadata Only”, “Rematch”, and “Rematch if only partial match”. “Other artwork options” is checked. Of note, arist images are downloaded for other folders.

Here is a sample directory structure:

Hi, difficult to say, please run Create Support Files.

Hi, okay I can see you ran it a few times, you already had artist, composer and performer images but not album artist images and non were added.

I then took an album, removed all artwork enabled artist artwork (including Album Artist) and saw it added Artist artwork but Album Artist artwork even though should be the same image, and did not add Album Artist image to the album artist folder either.

Did a major rewrite of artwork a few months ago so I think I may have broken something with Album Artists I will look into it - https://jthink.atlassian.net/browse/SONGKONG-3053 , I do not see a problem with Artist.

I think I have found the bug, as a workaround please try running Admin:Empty Database and then running Fix Songs, that should work for you.

I played around a bit. I deleted the database and cache. The artwork did not get updated when selecting “Update metadata” only but when I chose “rematch” under Fix Songs it seems to work .
