Sometimes I ask customers to take a screenshot, and they take an actual photograph of the screen with their camera. This isn’t ideal, its not easy to read and more work for the customer, there is a much easier way to do this.
Here we have the instructions for Windows:
- Click on the window you want to take screenshot of
- Press the three keys Alt, Cntl, Prt Scr at the same time (this creates screenshot and copies it to clipboard)
- Select Forum post, and then Cntl and P to paste screenshot into your forum post
If you want to take a screenshot of the whole screen instead of just one window just press Prt Scr instead of all three keys.
