empty directories

I am a new user of SongKong and it is really helping me get my library under control. I do have to report that SK is leaving empty directories behind. I had over 100 empty in one tree and about 20 empty in another tree.

Windows 7. Show hidden files enabled. Perhaps SK sees the desktop.ini or thumbs.db and thinks they are not empty?

I did two operations: Fix, delete dupes. Lots of folders that did not exist before I ran SK now exist (assume that they were created during the “fix” portion).

Unfortunately I downloaded and ran a tool to remove the directories.

I will pay more attention on the next set of trees. I have at least 3 more ares I need to clean up before I start combining them all into one common area.

Hi, Ive looked at the code it should handle thumbs.db in the folder containing the songs but not the parent folder and I have no special handling for desktop.ini so both could prevent the folder being deleted.

This is fixed in the latest release.

I’m having the same issue using the latest version. I have a folder which seems to have nothing in it but when I get info on it says the folder is 150MB? I’m running the latest version of OSX.

It should have the new Queens of the Stone Age but Song Kong did something to it. Like I said, I can’t see anything but when I get info on the folder it tells me it’s a 150MB.
