Cannot use SongKong

Hi,

I’ve bought SongKong on last saturday, but when I start the app an error message is displayed. “No Test license is available, make sure the firewall doesn’t block.”

Is it possible to get an app full version of SongKong?

You do have the full version of SongKong - there is no difference between the full version and the trial version, the only difference is you need to install your license.

Sounds like there may have been a glitch on the SongKong server can you retry, have you received and tried to install the full license yet ?

Hm…where I can find the full license to install? I don’t received any email or something after purchase.

thx for the resent. Unfortunately after the start the app is still displaying the error message “Cannot receive your license, check your firewall.” I’ve just configured the windows firewall and update my license data.

Any ideas? :slight_smile:

Can you just try disabling the firewall for a moment, because that seems to be the problem.

I’ve disabled my firewall but it doesn’t work. I’ve sent you an eMail with screens of the message and the disabled firewall.

Hi, I haven’t received an email from you.

Try disabling and then rebooting, maybe something is resident in memory, what I can categorically say is that the problem is something on your machine otherwise I would be getting complaints from another users.

Do you have anything unusual in your network configuration, do you have a manual hosts file or something.

Turned out the problem was that the SongKong database needed to be deleted

on Windows do as follows:

delete C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\SongKong\Database
