ITunes Music count shows 9,630. I have only music in my single iTunes library in OS X 10.5.4;
In Jaikoz, when I file-add all iTunes folders, the Jaikoz song count is 15,531.The processed count is similar.
What could account for this large difference?
If this is really a difference in song count, how can I begin to identify, hopefully with computer help, which songs make up the difference.

I neglected to state in my initial post that several days ago iTunes did contain the 15,000 songs. The count shrunk to 9,000 apparently because of my mistakes with Jaikoz and iTunes editing. Anyway, iTunes could not find them and I had no backup.
So, as I said, Jaikoz somehow found the entire 15,000 when I added folders, and processed them ok.
I forced a save of the 15,000+ songs to iTunes and now iTunes shows them perfectly (after removing a handfull of dupes and garbage).
Therefore it seems that Jaikoz magically found my “missing” songs. I have Jaikoz pointed to the iTunes music folder.
I’m still wondering about where and how Jaikoz found them. Does Jaikoz have some hidden storage from earlier processing, or what?
