When does "fix song by song when possible" work?

I have ten million billion files to correct, and I would like to fix one of them at a time which allows me to auto-save them to a different directory.

This as opposed to having to wait until Jaikoz is done getting acustic id etc. for all ten million billion files before any single one of them can be saved to a different directory.

Is there a way to do this, or would it be better if I wrote some automation-script to auto-correct the first file in the list, wait until Jaikoz is done correcting this single file, then repeat for all my ten million billion files?

I’m hoping to add a Save and Move option to the Autocorrecter in the forthcoming release

Thank you Paul, but that doesn’t specifically address my question and judging from some of your other answers on this issue I think I should clarify.

I can already use autocorrect to save and move, see the two attached screenshots.

What I want the autocorrecter to do, is treat each file fully before it moves on to the next file.

That would enable me to use jaikoz as a “black hole”-application, meaning I just set the windows scheduler to fire it up in a specific directory on idle (1), and voila the corrected files show up in the “correct files”-directory.

Well, at least it would make it possible for me to tinker further with it towards achieving that goal.

how do you think in which way Cluster Album should work when doing “fix song by song when possible”?
I think there are more problems when doing this way.

I don’t know what “cluster albums” is or how it is supposed to work.

I do know that this application has been written in Java and it takes half an hour to just load a directory having 50k files, (during which time you cannot interact with the application in any way, shape or form) then 10 hours to auto-correct 2k files (during which time you cannot interact with the application in any way, shape or form).

I fail to see what “cluster albums” has to do with that.

Though I did write a follow-up with a work-around to this issue: http://www.jthink.net/jaikozforum/posts/list/1369.page

You need to increase memory if loading 50k songs, Jaikoz is probably spending ages freeing up memory.

Cluster Albums works on an albums, i.e more than one song at a time, so you cant run Cluster Albums one song at a time.

So you need to have the Save option in Autocorrecter before you run any tasks that have to be applied to all songs (like Cluster Albums) to achieve what you want.

The trouble with the rename subfolders from tags is it doesnt effect the Base Folder, so if you want to move where the files are rooted it wont do what you want, this is why I will be adding a Save and Move task

Hi. Why do you have “Local Correct Artist” twice?

Is that by accident or is ther a purpose for that?
