What Linux file starts Jaikoz?

I installed the Linux version of Jaikoz in a “non-supported” Linux distro (based on Gentoo). I am happy to say the installation went very smoothly. The only hitch was I cannot find the program in my start menu. I did the install three times, and all three times the installer offered to create a link in the start menu, but for some reason, it does not appear. I have created the required file: “Jaikoz.desktop” and it appears correctly on my desktop and runs when I click it. The problem I have is, I do not know what file or command line to run to start the program. The usual would be Exec=jaikoz or maybe Exec=/usr/local/Jaikoz/jaikoz. These commands do not work because the operating system says the file does not exist, (which a file search confirms). The folder exists, as does “jaikoz.(various-extensions)” and a lot of Java files.

So what command does “execute the child process jaikoz” under Linux or Java as the case may be?

I am still learning Linux.

Thanks,
J.W.

You need to run the jaikoz.sh, it should be within your installation folder.

The linux installation works better on some versions of Linux than others, I intended to ugrade the installer to the latest version in 3.3.0 but ran of time, should be in next release.
