I cleared out all my meta data out of the id3 and id3 edit fields for about 1000 songs. I then ran an autocorrect to match to musicbrainz. I have all 1000 files in a single folder. When auto correct starts, it says Stage 1, Checking Releaes Groupings 1 of 43. What is being grouped and how is it determining they are grouped with all the metadeta removed except for title, artist, and album artist?
what are release groupings?
It groups by metadata and/or folder so in your case I think it is grouping by artist, and then trys to find an album that matches all the songs in the grouping. If you look in jaikozdebug0-0.log though the groupings are listed.
Not sure why you have done what you have though, it will be difficult and take a while to match these songs as it will probably end up matching song by song.

Just doing some testing. Was curious to see how accurate jaikoz was on a random folder list that I already had the songs tagged correctly for. Was also testing the speed of the local musicbrainz server. Not my typical setup, as all my music is grouped in folders by album.
Some recent improvements in SongKong for matching single tracks have not yet made it into Jaikoz, I suspect SongKong will be quicker - might make an interesting test.
