Weird FLAC problem

Hello, this is my first visit to these forums so I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank anyone who helps with this issue.

I downloaded Jaikoz because for years i’ve had an odd track numbering issue and I thought it might help solve the problem. It hasn’t but I have to say it is a great platform and a massive leap forward from TAG, which I used previously.

So, to the problem.

When i drop files into COG quite often the tracks will be out of sequence i.e. 1,10,11,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or variables of this theme. I have tried loads of times to re-name them to get them into the correct sequence but with no luck. It wasn’t a massive issue before now, more of a frustration, as I used to just manually move them to the correct position. However, now I have the HDD plugged into my AV receiver and don’t have that option.

On the far left side of Jaikoz GUI there is a box of numbers starting with “0” and working down to the last track. If you look at that it corresponds to the tracks out of sequence! Weird!

I’ve attached a few screen-shots of the problem.

Regards, Carty.

Hi, no screenshots attached, sometimes users have a problem adding screenshots to the forum in which case just email support at jthink dot net

Hi, the far left handside column just gives a row number per song, songs are loaded in the order the operating system provides them which is usually alphabetical.

You can click on any column in Jaikoz to sort by the column, but you cannot currently sort by multiple columns.

But Im sorry don’t really understand what your issue is, can you give us more detail.
