More than half of the files in my library are video formats.
To my understanding video files are not supported, is that the case and if so will there be support for video files in the near future?
If not are you able to recommend a different solution that would support video files?

No, video files not support this would seem to me to be a different product but maybe I am wrong about this. When you say Videos you mean music videos right, do you keep these with your audio files or with films ecetera.
They are music videos (mp4), kept with my music (mp3). The application that I use to play them (serato) treats video and audio files the same.
