Very very slow operation

Hello Paul,

setup:
MacOS X 10.6 / 2.8 Ghz Intel Core / 2.8 Gig RAM
Jaikoz 3.2.2 b1067, updated quaqua.jar

I have loaded about mp3 files with incomplete tags, and then proceeded to let Jaikoz identify the tracks - the process seems impossibly slow: It has taken 20 minutes to process 15 songs.

Here is the console log, please let me know if I am doing something wrong:

Hi, when you run Retrieve Acoustic Ids it can quickly match the song to the MusicIP database in a couple of seconds, BUT if it is not in the database it then analyses the whole song and submits the data to MusicIP , so it that it can be added to the database.

This second stage takes alot longer, a few minutes per song depending on the power of your computer. Typically this will only be required by a small number of your Songs (2%) , but you can disable this second stage by deselecting Preferences/Musicbrainz/MusicIP/Analyse and Submit Tracks that do not exist in MusicIP database.

Got it!

Thanks
