Using Filename to Update Metadata

Hi

I have about 600 mp3 songs with filenames consisting of the Artist and Title, separated by a double space. I’ve been through the docs and can’t find a way to extract that into metadata - is it possible? The Metadata is currently empty.

It is, you need to edit Preferences:File and Folder Correct:Correct Metadata from Filename:Rename mask to %artist% %title% and select Save

Then run the Action:File and Folder Correct:Correct Metadata from Filename. I just tried it and it worked for me.

Thanks for replying. I had tried (almost) exactly what you described, but %Artist% didn’t work, but %artist% does!
