Simply put, I highlight the cells that have been flagged as containing a white/wide space and use the “Remove” command from the “Edit” menu, however the extra space remains. Nothing happens.

I just tried and it works fine for me using both Popup menu and Main menu, what platform are you using?

I retested on my MacOS M2 and it is working fine for me
Yes, I meant 'Remove Whitespace" and “Remove Widespace”
It worked for me when I highlighted the fields containing the problem space. The spaces were removed.
However, IIRC, in past versions of Jaikoz, these commands worked without having to individually highlight the problem fields first. IIRC, in the past, if I just saw a whitespace highlighted, I just hit “Remove Whitespace” and it was gone.
Am I hallucinating … ??

I dont think behaviour has changed, but if you want to run against all fields just do Select All first.
