Upating only selected colums

Hi i dont know is it possible but ill ask. Is possible update only one thing in row? For example. I want update only album art (and | or ) discogs url … is possible to do that and dont modify any other ( artist, trackname … )

If not, its my another request

Yes, in the preferences

Preferences : Musicbrainz : Auto Format and Auto Format 2

Thanks for info.
But is there more easy method how to do thats ? I want to overide these setting for quick update and switching every combomenu into never populate this option and back is boring

Only idea, but think about this.

Yes thats true.

Could easily add a select none/all option on the Preferences page. But I guess you would really like to do this without going to the Preferences page at all, but I cant think of a nice way to do this.

Ok none/all button is better than nothing.

My idea was . Click on column and tell jaikoz fill this column only, if any columns are selected too, then update it too.

But your solution is acceptable too. I know its hard to work on this project with minimal $$$ but these solutions are for “freak” users . Jaikoz does his work very well, but some user-friendly (intuitive) features are welcome, easy to configurable not hidden in 4 clicks in menu > submenu and there is it hooray.

preference profiles.

For example, if the preferences were an xml file (doesn’t have to be xml), a person could save the preferences and give them a name like “NormalInDepthOperation.jai”.

Then they could go back and change the preferences and save that file “OnlyUpdateAlbumArtAndLyrics.jai”

Would also be nice if the AutoCorrector task list was in these preference files so one could make different AutoCorrectors based on task needs.

Only question I have is could you allow a picker option to load which profile you wanted upon program launch and could you change profiles after you have used the program for awhile.

Yeap, Profiles are solutions too . Maybe better than any other buttons

I think its on Pauls TODO list

What @wynlyndd wrote is about the same what I suggested in Forum Index --> Question --> Update only one column

It’s a solution for many issues I think and why I keep bringing it up.

or just have each of those sections have separate options saves, it would be a combined feature addition with the naming profiles.

but I think for this specific feature, having the option to save the highlighted columns only is a more intuitive and friendly interface option.
