I have noticed that Jaikoz is not using unicode to write folder and file names when using the Folder and File Correct function.
Is anyone else seeing that problem (assuming you use non ASCII letters).
In my case, some songs in my library have Cyrillic characters.
Hi I don’t know if this is related to your /ext2 filesystem because I dont seem to have this problem, please clarify.
On OSX enter U2\u01ff into artist field ( adds a character that requires 2 byte unicode encoding)
Run Correct Filename from Tag, U2?\tshown in fieldname.
Save file, U2? shown in filename on hard-disk.
I actually discovered the problem with my configuration. Apparently, my NAS is currently running Samba v2 and does not have UTF-8 support included.
