Unexpected problem with Jaikoz please report problem to support@think.net

Hi,

Yesterday I increased the Xms value in the info.plist to 300 from 150. I was able to drag and drop several thousand songs from itunes 8 to Jaikoz 2.8.1.

Today, I am trying to do the same thing, but the following message pops up:

“Unexpected problem with Jaikoz please report problem to support@think.net

I can load about 350 songs without error, but after that, the message pops up.

From the info.plist file:
-Xms300m -Xmx300m

From the console file on jaikoz:
Jan 26, 2009 5:47:26 PM: INFO: Jaikoz 2.8.1 using Java 1.5.0_16 on Mac OS X 10.5.5 initialized successfully
Jan 26, 2009 5:47:26 PM: INFO: Jaikoz has been configured with minimum heap memory of 300 Mb, maximum heap memory of 297 Mb and maximum permanent memory of 84 Mb
Jan 26, 2009 5:47:45 PM: SEVERE: Unexpected Problem with Jaikoz please report problem to support@jthink.net

Thats wrong, you should be increasing the -Xmx (maximum memory) not the starting memory

It might be related to you chnaging the wrong parameter but probably unrelated, please email me your complete support files (Action/Create Support Files)

I get this same error any time I try to export the data to an xls.

Here is screenshot of error.

Mac OSX

If you would like support files emailed, just let me know.

Gosh, there is a silly error in the distribution - Im going to have to release 2.9.1 today to fix this isssue, (when will I learn not too rush)

Thanks! I encountered a situation today with files labeled in a very specific and personal way that I kinda want to preserve, but I need to the gamut of checks and corrections to get all the other information. So I want to export the current data, jaikoz the whole lot, and then paste back in a couple of columns the way they were previously.

Glad it is something simple.

If you cant wait, export to CSV format works
