Unable to update iTunes:Invoke of: NameSource: Description: The playlist has been deleted

Hello, I am receiving the following error upon saving a change to one of the modified files in my library. “Automatically update iTunes Library” is checked, “Create a playlist” is not. I am relatively new to this product so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes sorry about late reply.

It looks like you run Autocorrect ,and the files are changed and saved without problem. Then you try and make some additional chnages and save again and it complains that the files cannot be found.

I’m pretty sure what is happening is that you have iTunes configured to Keep ITunes Media Folder Organized in iTunes Preferences:Advanced . Therefore when on the first save when Jaikoz informs iTunes of the changes it has made iTunes renames/moves some of these files based on the new metadata, but it doesnt inform Jaikoz of these changes so Jaikoz can no longer find the fields.

So your options are either to :

  1. Disable Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized option in iTunes
  2. Close and then reopen folder in Jaikoz after saving.
  3. Disable Save:iTunes AutoUpdate in Jaikoz
