several failed attempts over several days using safari’s downloader.
The download starts but sits for as long as a day with no progress. delete and retry hasn’t worked.
Got one download a few days ago which appeared complete (xx.dmg.download switched to xx.dmg), but could not get it to mount.
one factor could be that I am connecting from China, 
but this has not been a problem with previous releases.
any suggestions ?
EDIT 22/7: case closed. finally got a download done. installed, runs fine
