Hi,
This CD album is proving very hard to fix in Roon after rippinbg on DBpoweramp and running Songkong for Roon. The track listing is wrong and wont seem to correct. Any thoughts appreciated. Fix songs report 779.
Alos the create support files pop up wont allow me to paste a link in the 'forum url box for some reason? Running on an iMac M1.
Tom Walker Album (CD) I AM cant fix
Just tested this on MacOS (and WIndows) and it worked fine, but if not working for you just manually enter something so that you can se me the support files which i need to be able to help you.
Maybe you are on an old version of SongKong, I seem to remember there was an issue with not being able to paste into that Url field.
Hi Paul,
I am on version 11.2.1 Souvlake. The mac is on 11.7.9 Big Sur.
Have sent a support file link just now.
Hi, the only version of this album on MusicBrainz is this one with a different track order
Since it was able to match all twelve of your songs to tracks on the album and it was the best match SongKong allowed the match. The only way to prevent a match to this album would be if on the Basic tab Only allow match if all tracks in album were matched was enabled since this album has 13 tracks and you only have 12 tracks.
I have found match on Discogs to a version with the correct tracklisting
So what I reccommend you do is run Match to One Album, and enter https://www.discogs.com/release/31970513-Tom-Walker-I-Am into the Enter MusicBrainz Url or Discogs Url field
This should match then match the album correctly, hopefully this will then resolve on Roon although it may not because there is not a MusicBrainz version of the album for Roon to resolve to.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I have tried (i had to manually enter the data in the field as paste is still not working) but i get the message Unable to retrieve album from Discogs:31970513 each time.
Hi, okay this relatively recent album is not in our Albunack database yet (which is a cache of Discogs and MusicBrainz databases). Last time we updated Albunack the last few Discogs data dumps were missing, it is there now so I will have to rebuild the database soon.
With Match to One Album you can use Force retrieval direct from MusicBrainz to get round this issue for MusicBrainz albums, but we dont have the same option for Discogs.
So this is a different field, as you are on a Mac I assume you are using Commands-V rather than Cntl-V?
