There is a problem with my licence

Just opened Jaikoz this morning to be greeted with the message: ‘This license assigned to mail@cowgap.co.uk is already tied to two different computers, to authorise Jaikoz with this computer instead please contact Jaikoz Forum at https://community.jthink.net/’ When I click on OK the app closes.

I have been using this app on this computer for a couple of years now with no problems. I am also current with update payments. I have another computer but haven’t used the app on that in years.

Please help as I am lost without this app. Thank you

The problem was your license has been used with a large number of different Ethernet addresses, this usually indicates different computers, do you know why that would be?

I have reset your list and tested your license and it is now working.

Thank you for resetting the licence. I am confused regarding such a large number of IP addresses as my laptop has only ever been used in a small handful of different physical locations. I have only ever used Jaikoz on two computers, and that sequentially. When I replaced my old laptop I deleted the program before loading it on my new laptop. I remain puzzled but will keep an eye on my laptop’s changing addresses.

Hi, it is not Ip address but Ethernet address, this is the unique identifier for your network card. However it can be a psuedo address if you use vpns.

Sorry about that misunderstanding on my part. I am completely puzzled. I do not use a vpn so do not understand how different Ethernet (MAC?) addresses can be linked to my computer unless there is another way pseudo addresses can be created. I can assure you I have not used Jaikoz in any illicit way. Is this likely to happen again?
