...The may be corrupt

Attached is a screen capture of some files that say

“The following audio files are not recognised as audio files, they bay be corrupt:”

I work with the files in a directory outside of the iTunes music data base. When I am ready I then do a save and move to the iTunes music data base directory and then run my script that will add the files to the iTunes list.

I have gotten this a couple time and each time it seems that all the files were already in the iTunes music list.

Does jaikoz check for duplicate MB unique ID in the iTunes data basewhen reading files into Jaikoz.

They are valid music files because if I click on them the will get moved into iTunes.

Is possible to play these files in another player ?

Do you want to send me one of these files, so I can take a further look at this problem.

I’m having the same problem. When trying to load some of the directories from the iTunes library I get the “The following audio files are not recognized as audio files, they may be corrupt”. All the files play fine in iTunes/Cog. Files are also read by Musicbrainz Picard without problem.

The same problem here. Right after updating to 3.2 version. Files play fine in iTunes, VLC, etc.

If you think its a 3.2 problem, please send me your support files (Advanced/Create Support Files) so I can take a look, if you could send one of the problem files as well that would be great.

Thank you for quick reply. Here are requested files:

For some reason, cannot post with files attached. Is there an email address?

Support files have been sent to: support@jthink.net

I am having the same problem. I keep getting the error “The following audio files are not recognized as audio files, they may be corrupt” when loading my audio files into Jaikoz. Some do load, most do not. This has been happening since the update. They do load and play in iTunes 8.2.1.

I will send log files separately via email as I’m getting an error when trying to post with them attached.

Hi, thanks for pointing this out, there is a problem with my fix for
#1623:Problem decoding some artwork with error ‘Empty Region’.

I’m onto it now, and should have this fixed within a few hours.

Its fixed now in Jaikoz 3.2.1

Yes, it’s working.
Thanks.

Thanks Paul!

I get this error message from time to time, legitimately. It would be nice if Jaikoz offered the option to delete these files, with a confirmation dialogue. It’d be easier than manually tracking down the corrupted files later.
