Why do you require such an old version of java for Jaikoz? It means that I have to install 2 versions of java.
Also more recent versions have shipped in 64-bit, it would be nice to be able to use that.

I don’t - you can use the latest version, why do you think that ?
EDIT:There is an issue with the 3rd party installer that it doesnt always seem to work with the 64bit VM, and Im trying to find a fix for that. But once you have installed Jaikoz it will work best with the latest 64bit Java releases. So if this is the issue you have encountered just remove the older 32bit version of Java once Jaikoz is installed
