is the following scenario possible: I converted my old tapes to mp3 and now I am looking for an easy way to add tags (mainly track tiltle) to my files. I only entered the artist, the album name and the track no. I don’t receive any music brainz id but is it still possible to tag my files knowing only the artist, album and track number?
In addition, is is possible to disable the “track duration constraints” in *MusicBrainz settings?"

Hi, if you have not retrieved an acoustic id , then you wont be bale to match based just on artist, album and track no. The reason is that without the title it is too dangerous for Jaikoz to automtically find the matching track because the trackno is so often entered wrongly, or there are often mutliple versions of album with slight different track listings. But why dont you run the Retrieve Acoustic Ids function first and let Jaikoz lookup mainly based on the actual music (but it still usesthe album/artist/track no fields to help) this is the most accurate method.
In the new version of Jaikoz out before the end of january , you can weight the different parts of the matches so you could send the title to not be used in the match if you really wanted to.
No you cant disable it completely, but setting to its maximum of 9 seconds should be enough to match most tracks, you will be able to reduce its important in the next version of Jaikoz.
