Tagging 21k files: very slow

Hi,

I’m not sure if what I experience is normal or not but when I ask Jaikoz (Pro License) to autocorrect 21k mp3 files it takes ages. It goes through all stages up until task 9 out of 11 where it becomes very slow.

I have 12 gb memory, an AMD240e (2.8 ghz) and all files stored on a local harddrive.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, although you have 12GB Jaikoz can only use the amount allocated to it by default about 900 MB, and the amount of memory Jaikoz uses is proportional to how many files are loaded and with 21,000 files 900MB of memory is not really enough.

You don’t say what os you are using but please check the help , search for Memory Management this will give instructions for modifying memory allocation, it is different for each os.
