Synchronize Tags in Files with different formats

As a newbie to Jaikoz I didnt find a proper way for the following problem:

I rip my CDs to Apple Lossless. After this I tag with Jaikoz All files with lyrics, cover art, MB Tags, … Until now everythings fine.
Now I convert these files to FLAC and other formats. Most conversions are done with Max (on Mac OS X).
During the conversion some tags are lost. So id like to synchronize the tags from the Apple Lossless files back to the FLAC files.

The only way to do this in Jaikoz i found is to load the Apple Lossless files and than use Expert->Export to xls. Next I change the filenames in the xls file, load the FLAC files into Jaikoz and use Expert->Import.
This works fine, but maybe there is another, shorter way to synchronize this directly in Jaikoz? Or did you know a utility (Mac OS X) to convert between different formats which will copy all tags from source file to the destination file?

Why don’t you convert to flac first and then tag with Jaikoz. I dont think there is any tool that converts all the tags added by Jaikoz from Apple Lossless to Flac.

Its so easy using iTunes on Mac

Only a joke. Most of the time I need Apple Lossless and AAC (for Mac, iPhone, iPod, …). Only for my Multi Room Speaker System I need FLAC.

At the moment I have a lot of songs to convert and tag. And so it would be nice to copy all tags between the different formats in Jaikoz.
But its ok for me to do it via export and import. I think its not a feature more users would like to have in Jaikoz.

Maybe I could find another tool for conversion. One that copies over most or all tags to the newly created file.
