I use the Squeezebox Server with the MusicIP GUI together. My problem is that the MusicIP tag from Jaikoz Scanner is not recognized by MusicIP GUI.
Now my question:
1.) What is the difference with the MusicIP tag?
2.) How can I use the Tag with MusicIP GUI together?
3.) Is there on other way to use the MusicIP tag from Jaikoz and Squeezebox Server together?

Hi unfortunately MusicIP Mixer uses an older called field Magic Fingerprint, they introduced MusicIP Ids to their Music Dns software when they teamed up with Musicbrainz and they were going to upgrade the MusicIP Mixer software to use MusicIP Puids instead, but unfortunately I cannot see that happening.
So Magic Mixer will take no notice of the the Puids added by Jaikoz, you’ll have to reanalyse seperately with Magic Mixer for Magic Mixer playlists. I don’t know how Squeezeboz Server fits into the equation.

thank you very much. Hmm…sounds I have to search for an alternative “MusicIP” generator for the Squeezebox!!!
Seems that without support for “Hardware” Player the tagging is useless;-(

You can just MusicIP Mixer itself can you not. However MusicIP Mixer isnt very good at fixing tags many tags. having read http://wiredformusic.blogspot.com/2008/05/squeezing-most-out-of-your-squeezebox.html it appears that at the end of the day Squeezebox just uses ID3 tags, however they are completed.
