SongKong 12.9.2 Currents Released 23rd of September 2026

We have just released SongKong 12.9.2 Currents, this was required to fix three important regressions. Tasks that allow file renaming such as Monitor Watch Folder and Match to One Album could now rename by default when they didn’t before, on a fresh install some tasks may not start when using the Web UI, and if using the Japanese language the Fix Songs task would not work correctly

One other minor issue also resolved in this release.

Hi Paul,
It’s no big deal—even though I’ve updated to version 12.9.2, I still get a notification that a new version is available whenever I launch SongKong. I’m referring to the Docker version, as always; I’ve performed the installation twice, but the behavior persists.
As I said, nothing major, but it is annoying.

Ah, yes I made a small mistake in the installer yesterday so it wasn’t updating the buildno, therefore it would continue to say new version available. But I fixed this and did a new build about 6pm GMT on 23rd September, I checked this worked on Windows and should be okay for Docker, so Im guessing you downloaded it before this time?
