There was an issue with the initial linux version of 11.9.2, this has now been fixed, if you are having an issue please redownload and reinstall.

No big deal, but the installation file offered to close SK, which had been opened just for the purpose of getting the update. The rectangular notice popped up, I clicked on the hyperlink, and it downloaded the update, but then stopped while installing saying that it couldn’t close. So I went back and manually closed, and the update installed.

okay, there is no inline update because SongKong is available for a number of platforms and installation for all is a little different so providing an inline installer for all platforms would be difficult. So yes you have to download, ensure SongKong not already runing then install.
