Slow loading of files when cache is empty

When the cache is empty and I load a bunch of mp3-files (10000 or more), why is Jaikoz 3.91 and ealier versions so slow (Windows 7 64bit, 8GByte)?
There is nearly no CPU-load, but the disc-Queue is about 5 and there are many songs that Jaikoz - as I assume - will load at the same time.
(The mp3-files are on a SAMSUNG HD154UI SATA II 1500 GB)

It is much slower than copying the files from one disc to another or on the same disc in another folder.

Does the HD154UI feed Jaikoz too slow?

Well I guess its Disc/IO , and because this is the limiting factor loading the files in parallel doesnt really help, and of course Jaikoz has to read all the metadata from each files as well.

But I dont know anything specific about the SAMSUNG HD154UI SATA I
