Set "file type" for "open files" and "add files"

I am running Jaikoz under Windows 7, 64 bit.

If I go to the Jaikoz toolbar and click on “file” then “open files” a window pops up where I can select the files that I want to open. The default file type in this window is “.mp3”, and only mp3 files are displayed for selection. Other types of files are hidden until I change the file type in the pop-up window.

Is there any way to change the default file type to something else? In my case, I would like the default to be “.flac”, or “all files”. Either would do.

Its remembered during a session, but not once close Jaikoz and restart. I Think the bigger problem is actually that Jaikoz should default to the all audio files filter rather than restricting to one file type, Ive created http://jthink.net:8081/browse/JAIKOZ-675 to deal with both issues.
