Saving and moving only complete albums

Hi.

I wonder if there is any setting in Jaikoz where i can make the program filter out all non-complete albums.

I have alot of music that i am tagging with the help of musicbrainz, however not all are complete albums.

When i save and move after tagging, all songs are saved and moved, i need it to skip the non-complete albums.

Best regards.
Rickard

Hi, no sorry you cannot do that Ive raised http://www.jthink.net:8081/browse/JAIKOZ-684

However this might help. You can specify Preferences:Remote Correct:Match:Only Match Complete Releases so that when Jaikoz groups the songs unless it can find a release that all songs in the group can be matched to it doesn’t match them, therefore the only songs that would be moved if matched would be the ones that had been matched as a group to an album.

Howevert this isnt quite what you want, assume you had a group of 10 songs enabling this option would mean they all had to be matched to one album, but the album could contain more than 10 tracks therefore you could still have songs missing from the album.

You could also use the Reports:List Missing Songs Report to find the incomplete albums before saving.

Hi.

Nice to see that you have added a ticket for it, i am looking forward to test the new feature when it is released.

For now i am using the Only Match Complete Releases to try to get a better hit rate on the tagging and saving, i will experiment some more with this to see if i can optimize the auto correct for optimal identification and hopefully get as many complete albums as possible.

I will also try to implement the reports for better identification of incomplete albums so i don’t save them by mistake.

I am also running MusicBrainz Picard to verify that the albums i saved is indeed complete.

On another note, i really like the program so far and is completely satisfied with my purchase.

Keep up the great work!
And again, looking forward to follow the development of Jaikoz.
