Save from Metatadata

Hi,

Totally newbie with SongKong. Used to handle this on windows with MP3Tag.de

When I have altered my tags I’d like to rename my files eg. If my file is called: 01 michael jackson_dirty diana.flac

and my metadata is correct - how do I get Jaikoz saving it in the way I’d like? I would like thes to be saved like

Number/album artist/Album title/song title.flac - with dashes as separators …
Like:
01 - Beatleas - Abbey Road - Revolution.flac

some files I’d like just to be renamed like:
Artist / Songtitle.flac
Like: ABC - The Look Of Love

Hi, so you can rename files easily in Jaikoz, it doesnt do it automatically simply because it can cause problems for other applications if files are moved/renamed

So Jaikoz sees filenames as BaseFolder + SubFolder + Filename, and you can modify the SubFolder using Action: File and Folder Correct:Correct Sub Folder from Metadata and the filename using Action: File and Folder Correct:Correct Filename from Metadata

The subfolder and filename rename masks are defined in Preferences:File and Folder Correct

So modify the last line of Preferences:File and Folder Correct:Rename Filename from Metadata:Rename Mask to

and Preferences:File and Folder Correct:Rename SubFolder from Metadata:Rename Mask

artist + folderseparator + title

and that should do it.
