Save Artwork to Filesystem

Hello, I’m new here…

Is there a way to change the default filename string “folder.jpg” to “Cover.jpg” using the artwork saving option?

It would be nice to have a shortcut for this option.

Thanks

No there isn’t - why do you need to do this ?

All artworks in my music folder are called Cover.jpg, and I would maintain this concept for several reasons.

One reason I would appreciate this option in Jaikoz is because I’ve installed a music streaming system with Squeezebox Server (SBS) and I use iPeng on the iDevices to telecommand. To display the artwork view properly in this combination, the JPGs has to be in order, what means: everytime the same filename.

Always I store the artwork in the music file, with Jaikoz now easily in FLACs, for actual and future needs. With a quick option via Hotkey or integration in the auto correct action Jaikoz would be perfect for me

At the moment I use MusicBrainz Picard only to extract and save the artwork.

And squeezebox doesnt work with folder.jpg ONLY cover.jpg ?

According to the options, SBS should work with different filenames like folder, album, artwork, thumbs (multiple entries in the setup are possible) either it should extract the artwork from the tags, but it doesn’t! Respectively iPeng on the iPhone will display the artwork in album view only, when I follow the clean line.

Correction needs on the streaming programs, I know, but the feature on Jaikoz ist more then nice to have.
I started to name the Artwork Cover.jpg for years, and I’ll continue with.

Hi, didnt really follow your answer, does squeezebox work with folder.jpg or not ?

Yes, it does.
But I named all artwork with Cover.jpg. When I mix up different names, then I have to define multiple entries in the Squeezebox Server Setup (Cover.jpg also folder.jpg).
This causes problems in the album view on iPeng.

It doesn’t sound like a priority, if you REALLY want it done soon , you can pay $100 USD I’ll do it.

I agree with Paul !

Jaikoz is a great program. I like it really and ? actually I was testing it ? I’ve bought the license now.
The missing option is nice to have but not worth paying 100$. I can do this with MusicBrainz easily.
Thanks for your attention.
