Hi, on Save tab try setting enabling Save songs so they work best with iTunes because iTunes doesnt seem to understand predefined codes for some genres, enabling this option forces SongKong to write genres as text rather than using their code.

What is that screenshot from ?

That screenshot was from windows explorer. I was just showing that the weird genre values are actually in the file.

I’m running this on my synology and I wonder if it could be due to things fighting for control of the file share. I’ve moved them to another folder and am attempting to do the work in the other folder.

I’ll try that and the itunes compatible to see if it works.

thanks!

It seems like the problem was due to some sort of a conflict with processes competing over the folder. After moving it to a new location and running the process there, the genres are working as expected.

Thanks. Hopefully this could help someone else if they happen to encounter it.
