I ran a report and got back a missing line indicator as such.

I am trying to find this entry and so tried to search for “b74927aeb964” by entering this in the search box at the top right. But no luck.
How can I search my list, using part of the MBID number, inside jaikoz?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if it’s missing, then you’re not going to find it, right?
If you have the album loaded in jaikoz, just make sure you have the table “MB Release Id” set to be shown and you can use the Find and Replace option to find them. If you click on the column heading for MB Release Id, it will sort by the id, so they will all be grouped together.
I find it often useful to search for that id on musicbrainz as well. Unfortunately I haven’t found a way to do this directly from their website. Instead what I have to do is paste this url in the browser “http://musicbrainz.org/release/” and then paste the mbid after it, then hit enter. This will load the musicbrainz webpage with that release id. So in your example, typing in http://musicbrainz.org/release/bff1baf7-ac75-4da7-a3f1-b74927aeb964 in the browser address bar and hitting enter, would take you to the exact release that jaikoz is trying to use.
You can also use the option inside of jaikoz to view the release on musicbrainz and it will open it for you as well.
Mind you this will find the songs that the report shows you have, not the ones that it says your missing. Though it can still be helpful to find what it is detecting. If it says you have all but one song, then I usually will find the other songs on that album, sort by the sub directory to see what songs I have and if I am really missing it. Also worth verifying if musicbrainz has multiple releases of an album. Sometimes release in different countries, different mediums, or re-releases might have different tracks, or track orders on them.
