Hi
I have ran a ‘report missing tracks’ yesterday and saved it. That was on 4.6.0.
Today I updated to 4.6.1 and as yesterday I fount the first three missing tracks I thought I’ll run a new search. It froze Jaikoz, several times, on the same folder of files as yesterday. I had to force quit.
Now I’m working with the old html file and I have found strange things.
-there are occasions where a file is listed missing. I run a search to discover the file is in its place in the proper directory, named and marked, but it didn’t made into the jaikoz table. If I try to manually reimport it, i have the import dialog, but the file won’t appear. Is there any problem with an mp3 file that jaikoz will refuse to read?
-there are albums that lists 99% of its file missing. Like 28 out of 29. That obviously means there is only one file in there, but I can not find it in search or manually. In this case it might be better to list that one file.
-I have gotten albums listed that are missing 12 out of 12 files. I found that although Jaikoz moved all 12 files to its correct folder, its reading only one, and that without an ID, so it lists all as missing.
-I don’t think complete albums needs to be listed…
all in all it makes this list quite hard to read.
