ReplayGain tags/comments (without calculation)

Hi,

I would like to know if it’s possible to add ReplayGain tags/comments (without calculation) just to see if they exists, see value and modify them if necessary:

For mp3s you can add any custom textual information to its tag by going to the ID3 Edit tab and creating extra values in the User Defined Info or Comments fields (Just double click on the little number to the left of the field for a dialog where you can extra infomation).

But the values you list below are when you use the rarer APE tag format rather than the usual ID3 tag format, you need to use the ID3 equivalent which I dont know.

But if you want to edit Replay Gain added by another tool just look in the columns I describe above for values.

Hi,

I don’t understand well.
I don’t see any place where to add custom fields as ReplayGain tags or creating extra values.

I’m only doing FLAC and just would like to see if ReplayGain tags are here and contains ReplayGain values to know if ReplainGain have been already calculated.

When I calculate ReplayGain info (using flac --add-replay-gain) for FLAC album/track some tags are added to FLAC files as Vorbis comment type.

I would like to know if it would be possible to add FLAC ReplayGain related tags (Vorbis comment) ?

No, sorry mp3s are the only file types you can currently do this for in Jaikoz

In case you could add these ReplayGain FLAC tags in a future release …
here are the tags generated by metaflac or flac tools:

REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN=-4.19 dB
REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_PEAK=0.99612427
REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_GAIN=-4.95 dB
REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_PEAK=0.99612427
