I like the feature to populate the RECORDINGLOCATION tag automatically with Jaikoz. But usually, you only get the name of the studio or hall, like “RCA studios” or “Symphony Hall”. Often I don’t know where these studios are, so I would like to have the city, too: “RCA studios, New York”; “Symphony Hall, Boston”. The info is in the MusicBrainz database anyway, so it should be easy to obtain.

It is possiible, the difficulty is how far do you want to go , locationsare a recursice list of areas one inside the other, so do you want to go as far as country for example.

for simplicity, I would opt for completeness of the info retrieved. If you don’t like what you get, you can always remove the country semi-automatically with a tag editor. But it’s so much more work to find out where “Tonstudio Teeje van Geest” is located and edit the tag manually, which is what I do now. I’d be happy for any kind of automatization of this process.
